“Review is for BKD-1 HYDRAULIC BRAKE BLEED KIT — DOT. This kit was clearly poorly designed. No matter how much attention to the hose to the syringe fitting is done it leaks. Very disappointed, as I purchased this kit 1-year ago, just got around to using it for the first time and it failed to bleed my brakes. Looks like Park Tools has redesigned the hose to syringe connection with the BKD-1.1. I own a lot of Park Tools in my shop and this one has failed me. Park Tools should replace my hoses and syringes to the updated model free of charge.”

“Comprehensive set for brake maintenance. The syringe holder and spare O-rings are a nice touch, though it would also be nice if the syringe tubes were a chunky glass.”

“So much better than the cheap kits on Amazon and the like. Now I need to pick up the mineral oil version for the rest of my bikes…. If I had a complaint it would be that the case is just an open space to throw everything in. A formed case for each component would be nice. My Dominion A4s are dialed in now though so I’m over the moon.”

“Great kit, usual high Park Tool quality. First time ever bleeding DOT breaks. Between this kit and the instructional video, it was an easy task. Used it on my SRAM G2 R breaks and what a huge difference the bleed made. Went from squishy to solid.”
