“I started first by unscrewing from the crank puller the large diameter threaded outer piece that screws into the crank. This made it easier to verify the nose of the crank puller was small enough to fit into the cranks center axle square. I bought the correct puller! I then hand threaded the large diameter threaded outer piece into the crank. This was followed by hand threading the nose back into it and applying tension to pull off the crank. A little patience and soon the crank was off. Then I repeated the process for the other side.”

“First Park Tool purchase in awhile, nice to see the commitment to quality design and construction continues at Park Tools. Needed to remove damaged square splined arm on exercise bike, nothing else would remove it. Right tool wasn’t expensive - very reasonable for the quality of the product.”

“Very inexpensive tool for what it does. Makes an otherwise difficult task very easy. If you have two good arms and a bike with a compatible crankset, you should have this tool.”
