“It works well. The only caution is that I, like at least one other person (based on a question) have lost one of the clips that hold the top to the bottom. It's fallen off before, and I was able to find it; but the last time, it was lost. There may be a defect. Beware to keep track of these clips. Other than that, it's a great product”

“So I was going to get the bundle pack but it was sold out. So I bought the cyclone chain scrubber and the cleaning solution separately. Yeah a little more expensive but hey it was worth it. I was expecting it to arrive on Tuesday but hey I felt like Park Tool did me a solid and shipped it to me quicker then expected it arrived on a Saturday I saw the package at 2am I got home opened up my pacakage I like the corrugated cardboard mesh they use so the items don’t move around while I’m transit. It was the most satisfying experience ever I put my bike on the rack read the instructions and bam I had a clean chain and clean up was a breeze. 10/10 I would recommend someone this item.”

“Never cleaned my chain before; just didn't think it mattered. And just did it for the first time. Gotta say, regardless of the impact on performance, this is wildly satisfying thing to do. Like flossing and brushing very thoroughly. Really, it's the same feeling of taking something that's normally pretty grimy and making it super clean. Even though I know it's going to get grimy again, for just a little while, it is sparkling. I don't have the experience to compare this chain cleaner to others, but I can say it was very easy to use and got into all the nooks and crannies. I had no idea how much grime was in there 'till I saw how much came out. Solid 5 stars. The instructions wisely counsel to put down newspaper or some floor covering under the bike. It would be good if it also said to have paper towels handy - to wipe the bike (drips on the chain stay, mostly) and also to dry the chain before putting on the lube.”

“chain was cleaner but after 3 times i was still seeing the fluid turn pretty black. i suspect the old fashion way of taking chain off bike, soaking overnight in cleaner fluid, then cleaning by hand with a brush made for the job, that process would use less cleaner and get chain cleaner. your tool saves time and effort but it's a compromise. and being less than obsessive, i will continue to use the easier way!”
