“While I do ride bikes of all kinds and do my own maintenance, I actually purchased this for bike chain crafts/art projects that I sell. One project might require me to break 25+ links in a row. Great size and seems durable for my crafts. Smaller versions hurt my hand after breaking numerous links, but this does not.”

“The Park Tool 3.3 chain tool is very easy to use, much easier than the 4.2 making chain disconnect and re-connect much faster and easier. It especially make working on some of the newer style chains such as the SRAM RED 12 spd. much easier.”

Hello Steve, Thanks for your review. This chain tool works with most chains on the market, unless you have a Campagnolo chain that you are looking to peen instead of use the master link or the SRAM AXS flat top chain. We do not claim that this tool works with either of those chains though. Ordering the wrong tool for the job can be frustrating and we hear you man. keep on wrenching!
