“Examined it out of the box, spun the driver shaft and found a slight wobble in the pin. Removed the driver and snugged up the pin with plyers, still had a slight wobble. So before an attempt at the actual chain pin I used a craftsman 12 point combination on the pin, 5 or 10 degrees till it stopped. It was now straight and worked flawlessly removing the chain pin.”

“With four bikes running three (sometimes four) different speed drive trains, my old chain tool (8-11 speed design) wasn't a fit for 12-speed chains, so a do-it-all tool fixes that problem. So far this tool seems perfect and I don't have to worry about bending chain plates on my 12-speed MTB chains.”
