“Gets the job done when you’re on the road or trail. Solid tool that’s easy to use. I would not use this as my shop tool since it takes quite a bit of force to push a pin with this, but in a pinch away from home it works fine. Fairly light and easy to put in a seat bag with a spare quick link.”

“This is the best portable chain tool if you're shopping for a dedicated one because you found those little doohickeys that come on most folding multitools don't work so well. It's surprisingly strong and a reasonable size to get some leverage. Made in the USA too, pinch me... If you want even more leverage, you can hack the sliding arm off so you can insert a 4mm hex from the multitool I presume you're also carrying. Makes breaking chains substantially easier, and it's a smidge lighter and less awkward to pack.”

“It looks like it will hurt to use because it's so small, but it actually works great. Much more effective than I thought it would be, and it's small enough to carry along with you.”
