“I was frustrated with trying to get my new wireless SRAM Eagle AXS derailleur/controller to shift properly after replacing my SRAM XX1 derailleur/shifter as I am normally really good at drivetrain tuning. I considered changing back to my XX1 mech but I read somewhere that the new wireless AXS derailleur is MUCH more sensitive to alignment with the cogs than my previous mech. So I bit the bullet and purchased the Park DAG 2.2 Alignment Gauge as I knew that Park Tool quality is the best (most of my tools are Park). I found that my hanger was only slightly bent and this tool fixed it quickly and accurately. Interesting that my slightly bent hanger worked fine with my cable actuated derailleur but not with my new wireless derailleur. Now my AXS setup is shifting perfectly. Money well spent. Thank you Park Tool.”

“There are a lot of alignment gauges on the market, and pricing varies wildly. In my opinion this is by far the best overall gauge on the market, regardless of cost. Here's why: 1. As with anything Park Tool sells, this is a well made, highly quality tool. This gauge will last for decades. 2. It's extremely easy to use. Anyone from a novice bike mechanic to an experienced shop mechanic, will have success using this tool. 3. It's very accurate. One of the problems with alignment gauges, regardless of price is that so many of them are flat out inaccurate. This can be because of design, flex in the tool, play, or all of the above. This gauge does not have that problem. Summing it up: From a cost to performance standpoint, I don't feel there is a better alignment gauge on the market. This is cheaper than many premium options, and marginally more expensive than most cheap gauges that simply don't work well. Highly recommended 5 stars Cheers!”

“Bent derailleurs happens. You hit a rock, get stuck in a deep rut or even someone improperly loads their bike on the rack right next to yours. However it happens, it can ruin a days ride with poor shifting performance. Especially now with the advent of 12 speed cassettes fine tuning your derailleur hanger had never been more critical. This tool has saved me and my crew a lot of heartache on our rides.”
