“The Park Tool FR-5.2GT is a huge improvement over the original FR-5 tool. The original FR-5 works very well, but the 5.2GT provides a much more positive fit on the cassette, saving you from the dreaded, potentially damaging slippage which can occur with more stubborn or seized-on cassettes. The 12mm guide pin is a perfect fit for the most common thru-axle size, and the extra length of the grooved section gets a better grip on the cassette fitting. Thanks again Park Tool!”

“Really disappointed with this tool since I bought it at the same time I purchased the WH-1. Unfortunately the two 12mm center pins bump into each other for 142mm hub and don't the the tool engage the lock-rings on both cassettes and some centerlock disc rotors. I was also disappointed Park couldn't add a square 3/8" drive hole for a torque wrench which seems completely possible since centering pin bolt can fit in the hole size. Instead I had to buy a 1" socket further introducing a 2nd interface that can slip and adding cost. I know you can design better Park!”
