“I had the Bench Mat for a couple of years and find it indipensable, it’s got large enough area and surface to keep parts, screws, bolts, etc. for rolling away and getting lost. My one big pet peeve is the color, for mat that you’re putting greasy stuff on all the time, Park Tool Blue would not be my choice by a long shot. I was hoping they’d come out with one that is black with blue “Park Tool”, but no such luck. Maybe they’ll see this and start making them that way.”

“In general, a nice mat no matter what one might be disassembling. It keeps parts from rolling off the bench and allows for some organization. My only complaint is the amount of branding on the mat. I mean "Park Tool" takes up threes spots and removes the usefulness of the mat in though areas. One spot would be enough. It would be nice to see another model that is longer, maybe 32-36 inches long”

“Gotta protect those counters! Always much easier to scrub off a mat in the sink than refinish counters, plus helps delineate working areas and storage areas. I bought many and cover all surfaces except the one area with my smaller Park mat (that one is enormously useful to keeps parts organized during dissassembly). Works much better than the cardboard scraps that I used to use!!!”
