For years I have been using various random wedge shaped things to push back my brake pistons when installing new pads. Some worked better than others, but none worked as well as this dedicated tool. If you have several bikes with hydraulic brakes, this is a worthy investment. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the wedge is quite wide - it fits inside Shimano calipers, but I am not convinced it will work with all systems.

Preforms as advertised, I slide it in every time I change the wheels from training to race and back to training. Eliminates the need for the business card hack and unlike the hack it works every time

In my experience using the right tool for the job at hand improves results and saves time .Works great on Shimano ULTEGRA calipers.

Was using a flathead screwdriver to attempt to put the disk brake pistons back in place. I discovered the Park Tool piston press through the Park Tool repair videos. Decided to aquire it and I was blown away by how efficient it was. It was such a breeze to put my disk brake pistons back in place. Thanks Park Tool team.

Hard to use on SRAM Guide R brakes but I could see how this tool would be awesome on two piston systems. That being said the tool is very solid and my experience working on brakes is very limited.
