This is just what I need. I am 76 and have just added to my fleet of bikes a pedal assist Specialized Turbo Levo MTB. At 50 pounds it is difficult to lift onto my old repair stand as I have to hold the bike with one hand and work the clamp with the other. This lift takes care of that. I will of course use it with my 18-pound bikes, but for the heavy one, it saves my arthritic shoulder. Also, customer support for assembly was great. I was able to talk to a representative (Truman) who answered my questions patiently. Assembly went without a hitch, and the stand works flawlessly. The variable height also is great because you can have your bike at eye level whether you are seated or standing. For assembly, be sure to watch the video online. The printed instructions are a little cryptic. For example, it was unclear exactly how the chain should run through the gears and the printed instructions contained a picture that did not clearly show this. The video was much better at showing this, and this was one of the questions I called to confirm with Truman before proceeding with the rest of the assembly.

Fine until the power cord breaks at the plug because of the tension of it pulling while going up and down all the time. Fine for home use. Not good for high volume shops imo. Wish some other companies would make something like this. Park stuff has been weak sauce for the last few years.

Thanks for the review Nope. If you feel the cord wore out prematurely please reach out to us. There are many of these units out there that have been in the field for 10 years and have not worn out the cord and are still going very strong. 99% of these stands go to shops and are used heavily daily. We have service videos and documents that help people maintain them and we are here to pick up the phone or answer emails if you have issues, comments or concerns. Have a great day!

The electric stand is great, and is perfect for heavier E-bikes. The issue is the poorly designed clamp system (which enables you to pivot the bike) that after only a matter of months wears and will no longer hold a bike in a fixed position and pivots with just the bikes weigh. We have resorted to tightening the clamp using a longer bar as leverage. This is a temporary fix as eventually it wears down. Park say this is a wear and tear item and is not covered under the “lifetime warranty”. For a stand costing almost £3000 I find this very poor. This is the same head on all the workshop park stands. We currently have 3 and have the same issue with all 3.

Question , if there power is (for any reason) does it work manually??

No. If there is no power to the stand, it will not work manually.

It would be nice if you offered a manual slide for the opposite side for conventional bikes.

Amazing, saves so much space in the shop, and makes lifiting bikes easy. Rock solid. Good backup from Madison in UK when it stopped going up and down (was new and it was just a grub screw not assembled correct at factory). Would never look at any other stand now
