“Be prepared to spend additional time and effort (or even additional bolts) to account for the paint added to the holes which need to accept coach bolts. They likely won't fit.”

“Suitable for home mechanic use to correct minor rim issues. Not as stable or sturdy as the professional version, but much easier to store due to its smaller size and weight”

“I’ve only assembled it thus far. For the most part, intuitive and easy to assemble. However, too much paint in the square holes where the left and right stands attach to the base makes the hole much smaller. Snapped a bolt because of this. Not critical just quality control lacking. In addition it would have been nice to know that it doesn’t work with 12mm thru axles unless you buy a $60 accessory. Doesn’t say anywhere in the instructions. But Park tool has it. So add that to your cost if trying Mtb wheels.”

“My husband asked for it as a gift and he absolutely loves it. He mounted it on his workbench and it will get a lot of use because he is finicky about his bikes.”

“Overall, I am happy with the truing stand. The only problem I had was that the bolts for mounting the vertical arms to the base did not fit in the base. I had to drill out the holes and use better bolts. Now that the stand is together, it works very well and is very sturdy.”

“Good basic home truing stand but cheap/low quality and ill fitting carriage bolts make assembly frustrating. Park Tool please fix that known issue, saying the fit is tight or blaming it on the powder coating is just an excuse. The replacement bolts I purchased at the hardware store didn’t need that excuse.”
