“I had a click-type torque wrench that could measure up to 60 Nm, but I bought a TW-2.2. When I tightened the locking ring that attaches the 12-speed cassette to the hub of the Shimano micro spline, I applied too much torque and broke the thread. I made a mistake because it was difficult to distinguish between the sensation of clicking and the sensation created by the serrations of the lock ring. This beam type allows you to observe the process of increasing torque. It is safe for beginners, and I think it is especially suitable for bolts that are tightened with high torque. It is also recommended because you can calibrate it yourself.”
