“I had purchased a used truing stand but was fairly certain I didn't have a properly dished wheel to ensure that the stand was centered. My choices were: buy the 1554-1 centering gauge which was out of stock anyway, buy the WAG-4 which would likely require tire removal to work properly, or buy the WAG-5 which looks more durable and enables the tire to remain installed. The WAG-4 offered the most utility for the money.”
