This product is worthless if you are trying to use it in a vice. It doesn't protrude far enough out, making it impossible to put a wheel on it without the wheel hitting your vice. If you're direct mounting it somewhere I'm sure it's fine, but they should really make this more obvious. Now I have a $70 paper weight.

I love that I never knew I needed this tool. I love this wheel holder. However, the design features I do not care for is the spade head thumb screw as well as the quick switch teardrop holes. The thumb screw doesn’t tighten enough for how I get kinda rowdy with it sometimes. Then add in the tapered holes, and I’ve had more than a few occasions that the 12mm axle dummy popped into the wide part of the teardrop. This of course means the wheel and axle dummy become mobile from the wheel holder. I changed the axle dummy thumb screw to a hex head and drilled a 7.83mm hole in the opposite flat plate “foot” (as it looks). I prefer the unit be clamped when in use with a small steel rapid clamp so as to maximize a small bench top rather than having the unit be screwed into a large part of my accessible work scale. Now I use it in only the horizontal wheel position but prefer that option as I like to do my tubeless sealant with the wheel on my feet and vertical. If I need it vertical, I’ve got the truing stand. Am I missing something? Throw me a bone Park Tool. Where is the link for that video?

There is a flat on the end of a stud, that is 3/8" wide. Use a 10mm wrench to tighten it down and that axle stud will stay tight.

+ Great little wheel holder for various tasks. Works with QR and Thru-axles (12, 15, and 20 mm). Can be left bolted onto the work bench without disturbing too much. - I needed extra spacer for QR wheels (three standard washers OD/ID/Th 20/10,5/2 mm). Should have been included for the rather high price.
