Keeley Darkside V2 Reviews

4 Rating 2 Reviews
The Keeley Dark Side workstation is okay as a workstation for those looking for 70's sound. However, customers looking for something more modern might want to try something else. Pedal Empire on the other hand were fantastic with the transaction and have been very good communicators thoughout the transaction. I would highly recommend Pedal Empire and even though this pedal was not my taste, I still intend to purchase more pedals from them.

Fuzz is unbelievably good as are the modulation presets. The “in between” settings allow for some really interesting and unique sounds. The delay takes a bit of time and patience to dial in and is well worth the effort. Overall, every aspect of the pedal is voiced in a way that makes any blend work, be it either clean or dirty. This is a pedal that allows you to dial in much more than what the name of the pedal portrays. So if you’re not chasing it’s signature tones, there’s still heaps of sounds that make it more versatile than you might think. The last part of the piece is that it works really well with other pedals. I’m not that fond of multi effect pedals as there is usually a compromise between quality of sound and functionality. The videos online led me to believe that it was worth taking a punt and I’m very glad I did.
