Nice upgrade to 120v Was managing 120v charging just fine but it's nice to know I can charge a lot quicker now, when needed. Had an electric range in my garage so it was easy to make this work. Great product so far. I leave it plugged in all the time.

Fast!!! Went through two other chargers before this one. This one is more expensive than. Lot of other non wall mount models. But it is worth it! The charge is fast, if your house can handle the full 32 amps it will charge quick. I use it on my bmw i3 with the 33kw battery, charges from 20 % to 100 in about four hours

FAST! So much better than trickle! I opted for this 32 amp over a less expensive 16 amp charger. Very happy with the construction of this cable. I'm running a 50 amp breaker. The digital readout on the Primecon shows it charging around 28 amps. Very pleased, and good quality for the price. 30 foot length is enough to run the length of my garage and up to my car connector, but not much extra. Great value!

Worked from day one, installation was trivial. I chose this particular charger because it had options for the correct plug and an extended length (35'). We had an unused dryer socket in our garage so I selected the plug that would fit. Within ten minutes of getting the charger, I had it plugged into the socket in the garage and charging our car. We now can recharge completely in about 2.5 hours rather than the six or so it takes with the 120 V charger. We still carry the original charger for longer trips where we can grab a few kWh from a motel or gas station but for everyday this charger allows us to always leave the driveway with a full charge. We really like it.

Great Charger! Everything worked well so far. The charger is 240V / 16A (3.2kW), which is faster than the backup charger I had received with my e-Golf, and of course not as fast as the 32A chargers (like this one, which are twice as fast, but twice as expensive as well. It came in a neatly packed box (can be seen in the pictures), and I would keep it, since there is a lot of cable, and the box seems to organize it well. The cable is in two pieces (again can be seen in the pictures), I'll touch that in a minute. The final connection is a NEMA 14-50 Plug, which was the one used in my workplace. I asked for the longer cable, since it allows charging when I cannot park directly next to the outlets. However there is a caveat, the longer cable should not be kept in a spool, but rather should have a random loop. Otherwise that essentially becomes a coil, heating up, and possibly causing a fire hazard. (This is general knowledge when you handle large currents over long cables). However I had issues with heating extension cables before (when I was using the 110V backup charger with a wrong extension cord). So make sure you use the correct length, and any slack is not tuned into a coil. Overall I was satisfied with the charger and for the given cable length and power level it seem like a good deal

Good well designed Level 2 Charger Seems like a very well built Level 2 charging cord. I just got a plug-in hybrid and the level 1 charger that comes with it is both slow (no surprise) and short. I have a unused "welder" 10-30 220 outlet in the garage and found this Level 2 charger with the included proper plug. I bought the 35 ft, for a few dollars more than the 30 for potential future insurance but it also gives me flexibility in parking the car. The cord is very heavy duty and seems correctly rated for the length and power, but still fits under the garage door. This allow me to charge at top speed, 16A, because the onboard charger is rated for 3.8 kW
