“Great solution at a great price
I'm very happy with this charger, it has definitely eased my home charging anxiety. Before this purchase it took about 26 hours to fully charge my Leaf. It takes about 8 hours now to put a full charge on the battery. My charging situation is probably a little different than a lot of homes, I'm able to run the 50 foot cord from my car and through my house to the utility closet where the washer and dryer sit. I'm lucky that the 220 outlet sits right above the dryer, so its easy to unplug the dryer and plug in the charger. So I had no extra expenses for adding level-2 charging for this awesome car. The only thing I can't do is dry clothes and charge my car at the same time, I just have to remember to put plastic on my car seat if I'm wearing wet clothes.”

I did quite a bit of research and spoke with friends and co-workers for advice before buying a level-two charger for my new 2019 Kia Niro EV EX. “A great value
I had a previous large wall charger that had worked for years and suddenly no longer worked and I had paid almost $1000 for it. It required a 30 amp 220v circuit. Most of the new wall mounted ones require at least 40 amps which would mean a large expense to up grade. I found this one that required less than than a 30 amp circuit. This unit is much small and works very well and only takes a few minutes longer than my previous one to fully charge you vehicle. the only issues #1 I ordered it with the 30A plug and it came with a 50A plug so I had to change the receptacle.
#2 sometimes it is difficult to remove the charger from the vehicle.”

I can strongly recommend Primecom and their offering of vehicle chargers. I ordered the Level-2 EV, 14-50P, 30 feet, 16A and although the charger worked perfectly, the length wasn't exactly what I needed for our unique setup at our house. I contacted the seller, Primecom, and the communication with David was immediate and extremely helpful. He informed me they actually had a different charger altogether that would be perfect for our setup and he would have one shipped out to me that same day.
