“Works Great!
The charger works great, It's so nice having a quick charger. I have been using the 110v charger every since I bought my volt. Which is fine for charging overnight. I installed this 240v charger at my business. Now I can stay fully charged between running errands. Well worth the money and quality is great. I'm going to purchase a second for my house as well.”
“Solid, should last years.
Liked:
- 30’ cord. Solid and flexible.
- Basic functions, but really more than needed as most EV’s control the charging. The cord from your outlet doesn’t need to do much more than provide connection to car.
- Good customer service with the one issue below.
One issue (resolved):
- RFID, which rotates the charger between current limits, stopped working in first week. Replacement RFID received from Primecom and all fixed.
- related to RFID, could you document its’ use? Didn’t see any mention on the one pager documentation of what it does.”
“This is a great EVSE!
I'm very satisfied with this 40A EVSE with selectable amp-level. It works very well with my Hyundai Kona EV. While it may not be Wi-Fi enabled, but it has all the helpful information you need to know clearly & brightly displayed on its built-in screen. It also came with a J-1772 holster which was appreciated. This is a great unit for the money!
Customer-service was very good as well! They quickly answered my questions and promptly sent me another RFID card when I mentioned that I had not received one with the original shipment.”
“Great deal, Fast Charging, Awesome Charger!!
This charger works perfectly. We have been using it for 7 months. The plug fits nice with my EV and the charging is really fast.
I didn’t need to use any wifi features because both my wife and myself have cars that have features like wifi and set charging times.
It came in a nicely laid out box with proper padding and packaging.
If we ever end up needing to purchase a second electric car charger, I'd buy this unit again without hesitation.”
“I appreciate the sellers ability to provide a 30 A male plug to suit the customers need but I still choose the wrong type and will do some rewiring to accommodate it.”
