“Works great with BMW i3 Works great with my 2016 BMW i3. Charges a lot faster that the standard 110v charger that came with the car. BMW app works the same as before. Good build quality, LED lights are helpful to see any errors and current status. make sure you get the plug that fits your specific wall outlet as 220-240v outlets are not all the same - glad to have found the version that fits mine.”

“Simply a great product I was skeptical of all the 5 star reviews, but it just works. David, who answered the phone when I called, was also a wealth of information on general questions about charging for a BMW i3. I.e. what type of wire to have installed for the outlet, which type of plug will set you up for the future of EV's, etc...Great product and great customer service. I have never seen the point in the extensive charging stations with wifi, notifications, etc...”

“A great value I had a previous large wall charger that had worked for years and suddenly no longer worked and I had paid almost $1000 for it. It required a 30 amp 220v circuit. Most of the new wall mounted ones require at least 40 amps which would mean a large expense to up grade. I found this one that required less than than a 30 amp circuit. This unit is much small and works very well and only takes a few minutes longer than my previous one to fully charge you vehicle. the only issues #1 I ordered it with the 30A plug and it came with a 50A plug so I had to change the receptacle. #2 sometimes it is difficult to remove the charger from the vehicle.”

“Custom cord lengths... very handy! This was one of the most inexpensive chargers available... not fancy, but it gets the job done. I have tried it in both 120v Level 1 mode (with an adapter) and 240v level 2 mode, it seems to work great in both. There is a nice, tight fit in the charging port, and the latch mechanism seems more sturdy than my other charger. The best feature to me, though... is that they offer it in different cord lengths so you can get just the right distance between your outlet and the car without paying for a lot of extra cord or having to park a specific way to make it reach. Nice!”

“Works for 2015 Chevy Volt Perfect I recently moved into a 100 year old with no exterior outlets or a garage. Was in a bind trying to figure out how to charge my 2015 Chevy Volt. This allows me to use the 240v dryer outlet I have inside the house. The cord is long enough to span the distance of my house from the laundry room in the front and make it all the way to back of my driveway. It's worked perfect! Full charge in under 4 hours. No need for an electrician or a fancy charging station. Absolutely worth the cost. I've been using the charger for 3 months every day now completely outside, no cover in rain and snow and have not had any charging issues.”

“Great Charger! Everything worked well so far. The charger is 240V / 16A (3.2kW), which is faster than the backup charger I had received with my e-Golf, and of course not as fast as the 32A chargers (like this one, which are twice as fast, but twice as expensive as well. It came in a neatly packed box (can be seen in the pictures), and I would keep it, since there is a lot of cable, and the box seems to organize it well. The cable is in two pieces (again can be seen in the pictures), I'll touch that in a minute. The final connection is a NEMA 14-50 Plug, which was the one used in my workplace. I asked for the longer cable, since it allows charging when I cannot park directly next to the outlets. However there is a caveat, the longer cable should not be kept in a spool, but rather should have a random loop. Otherwise that essentially becomes a coil, heating up, and possibly causing a fire hazard. (This is general knowledge when you handle large currents over long cables). However I had issues with heating extension cables before (when I was using the 110V backup charger with a wrong extension cord). So make sure you use the correct length, and any slack is not tuned into a coil. Overall I was satisfied with the charger and for the given cable length and power level it seem like a good deal”

“Looks Great, Charges Fast, Awesome Customer Service! I purchased this Primecom.Tech level 2 ev charger for my Chevy Bolt. The original charger was just too slow. I am very happy with this purchase. No issues so far, right out of the box everything was nicely packaged, designed, and delivered. - can fully charge my Bolt overnight - seller was really knowledgeable about the product and general EV information. - feels very durable - the charging station has a very nice aesthetic design and look - the plug that goes into the EV feels perfect - Installation is was extremely simple - Seller was quick to answer my questions and corrected my mistake really fast I think this is great charging station for what it costs. Durable, looks great, FAST charging, and great a seller!”

“I purchased the 240v charger and I could not be happier with it. Built solidly and works as advertised. Price was a little high in my opinion, but I am glad to have it. 2 to 4 hours charging beats 12 hours charging on 110 any day.”
