“Since an Electrician was going to charge $1,500 to run a L2 line to the garage where I park my Honda Clarity, I decided to try using a 30 AMP Dryer Outlet that's already there to charge my Honda Clarity from time to time when I can't wait for an overnight charge; however, I wanted a charger that would demand marginally less than than 30 AMP for safety reasons on that circuit. FURTHER: I also wanted a charger that I could easily switch over to a 110-volt outlet for the vast majority of the time. However, the cable that came with the car was not long enough to easily reach the outlet in my garage. THIS CHARGER WAS THE PERFECT SOLUTION....It has the ability to preset the demand based on AMPS available so you know for certain you are not pulling too much through the circuit and looking for trouble. Not only that, their Customer Service is phenomenal - I spoke with David. Since I was planning on a dual application of L1 and L2 for the same cable, I called the manufacturer and asked if they offer an adapter for the 110-volt that would match the 14-30P connector on the charger needed for my dryer outlet since I didn't see the configuration I needed on Amazon. They were able to customize the charger plug and a 110-volt outlet adapter, as well as the length to exactly what I needed. David also explained that they use 100% copper wire so the voltage doesn't drop on longer charger cables before reaching the car, and you don't lose out while paying for the full cost of electricity with only part of the benefit. This was a perfect solution and the best possible outcome for flexibility. Can't recommend this product enough! Very happy!”

“I have been using the Primecom.Tech 40A, 30' charging cable for 2 weeks and I am please with the product. I use it to charge a 2021 Toyota Rav4 Prime and 2018 Tesla Model 3 (with Tesla adapter). The communication between the cable and the car has been accurate: the Tesla automatically changed from a 32A max to a 40A max charge when it detected the cable. I especially like the Primecom.Tech display showing actual kWh used during a charge since I track this. The Primecom.Tech cable costs more than the average non-WIFI enabled Level 2 charge cable, but it plugs/unplugs from both vehicles firmly without undue force. I also like how the actual kWh resets each time the cable is disconnected, instead of accumulating like other cables. The temperature display is shown in degrees F (others cannot be set to this).”
