Have only charged a few times, but the adjustable amperage feature worked extremely well (I used 24A). I wish they had a 20ft cord version, but not a deal-breaker by any means. So far, so.. “Works great; Looks great; the adjustable amp option and plug option are great; we did not have to change anything;
our plug outlet is low on the wall so if the distance between the controller and outlet plug were longer that would have helped but it was easy to raise the outlet a little and we put a low table to hold the controller. We were charging as soon as we opened the package; it cut our charging time way down; we can charge at 20 or 24 i think; we keep it at 24 amp for our 30 amp breakers with no problem. We may someday upgrade the breaker to 40 amp and charge at 32 amps.”
“Well constructed adapter unit seems to work flawlessly so far, automatically switching as needed. However, I do find (from past experience) that the cable is overly stiff and inflexible, making it hard to manage and store and use. If possible, a more flexible cable would be helpful.”
