This is only an initial review (about a month), so I cannot attest to the durability/reliability of this EVSE. However, thus far it has worked flawlessly. The build quality seems good with thick cabling and a solid interlock to the plug. The rubber dust cover for the charging plug fits well. The charging rate is what I expected based on amperage of this no-frills EVSE.”
“Works perfectly, excellent company to deal with
I can strongly recommend Primecom and their offering of vehicle chargers. I ordered the Level-2 EV, 14-50P, 30 feet, 16A and although the charger worked perfectly, the length wasn't exactly what I needed for our unique setup at our house. I contacted the seller, Primecom, and the communication with David was immediate and extremely helpful. He informed me they actually had a different charger altogether that would be perfect for our setup and he would have one shipped out to me that same day. Our EV Station is now exactly as we envisioned it, thanks to David and Primecom. I would not hesitate to contact this company to discuss what the right solution is for your setup, they've been extremely helpful the entire process. Very rare these days. Both chargers worked perfectly with our 2018 Chevy Volt, the car charges in 4+ hours instead of 10+. We couldn't be happier.”
“FAST! So much better than trickle!
I opted for this 32 amp over a less expensive 16 amp charger. Very happy with the construction of this cable. I'm running a 50 amp breaker. The digital readout on the Primecon shows it charging around 28 amps. Very pleased, and good quality for the price. 30 foot length is enough to run the length of my garage and up to my car connector, but not much extra. Great value!”

I had to have a 220/240V outlet installed in my garage to use it. City inspector was a stickler and asked for more information about the charger. I contacted the company and they wrote me a fantastic letter outlining the electrical information that the inspector was asking for. Inspector signed off the next day. Thank you for going above and beyond to satisfy the city inspector!!!”
“Great level II EV charger
After reading discussion groups and Amazon reviews, I was delighted to find this charger. I bought a Kia Niro PHEV recently and was thrilled to discover that I had an unused 220V dryer outlet in my garage. I opted for the 40-foot charger so that I can route it up across my garage ceiling and down to where my vehicle sits. Since it is a 16Amp only, it take ~2 1/2 hours to charge up my 26 mile capacity battery, which is sufficient for my needs. I am very pleased with this item.”
“Nice unit with 2 hidden jems
I was going to purchase this unit and an adapter to work in a NEMA 14-50 connector so I would have option to charge at RV parks and hotels with RV outlets across the country. When the unit arrived, I found that the NEMA 6-50P connector is a removable adapter that becomes a NEMA 14-50 connector when removed. The other surprise is that there is a black rain cover included for the connection to keep rain out after disconnecting. So, this unit is compatible with thousands of non-tesla chargers across the country.”
