“Works for 2015 Chevy Volt Perfect
I recently moved into a 100 year old with no exterior outlets or a garage. Was in a bind trying to figure out how to charge my 2015 Chevy Volt. This allows me to use the 240v dryer outlet I have inside the house. The cord is long enough to span the distance of my house from the laundry room in the front and make it all the way to back of my driveway. It's worked perfect! Full charge in under 4 hours. Adding a fast charger (240V) seems to be a huge part of hybrid vehicles, and the faster you can charge the better. In my case I went from getting about 700 miles per tank (120V charge) to over 1300 miles per tank (240V). Charging in two hours or less typically means I leave my house on a full charge. And as most of my runs into town are 25 miles or less there isn't any gas used. I just filled up after 21 days and had 1360 miles on the odometer, and the fill-up was 10.3 gallons.
Before this charger I would only have a full charge once per day because it typically took over 6 hours.
Installation is easy, add a 240V circuit breaker and a plug and you're set.”
“Worked from day one, installation was trivial.
I chose this particular charger because it had options for the correct plug and an extended length (35'). We had an unused dryer socket in our garage so I selected the plug that would fit. Within ten minutes of getting the charger, I had it plugged into the socket in the garage and charging our car. We now can recharge completely in about 2.5 hours rather than the six or so it takes with the 120 V charger. We still carry the original charger for longer trips where we can grab a few kWh from a motel or gas station but for everyday this charger allows us to always leave the driveway with a full charge. We really like it.”

Was managing 120v charging just fine but it's nice to know I can charge a lot quicker now, when needed. Had an electric range in my garage so it was easy to make this work. Great product so far. I leave it plugged in all the time.”

Bought mine about 2 months ago. Shows the amount of KW required for full charge and amperage as it changes on an easy to read display. Plugs right into my 220v outlet in my garage.
Was working great until a few days ago. The plug became difficult to insert and was not fully charging.
I Contacted the seller. Got a reply to my email within 30 minutes. Gave my Amazon purchase order number and my home address. A new unit was sent FedEx in one day with a return label for the defective unit. No hassle no fuss.
