Sierra Legging : 26" Black / S Reviews

4.7 Rating 74 Reviews
The Sierra fabric is a great performance and lounge fabric! I enjoy wearing my various colors but find it annoying how some feel completely different depending on the color. The booty scrunch also doesn’t do much for me, almost makes me look flatter and gives me a cam. Sized up from a medium to a large and that helped some. Top favorites are sienna and carob right now!

I bought these in black and cactus and WOW. Casseys had been my fav but at the first try on these are definitely my top legging. The stretch is perfect, they feel amazing and have just the right amount of compression. Love the scrunch aspect without it being over the top. Just overall a great performance legging. I’m 5’8; athletic build; weight fluctuates 145-155 just depending on my current phase and I got a Medium.

Wore these once and already experiencing pilling. Bummer since the color is nice and the fabric is soft otherwise. Also if you’re in between sizes I would definitely size up! But ultimately not sure how these will hold up, especially after washing.

I have bought these so far in Cactus, Black, and Carob. I wrote a review on the Cactus already but the black deserve their own review! The black is slightly less brushed than the Cactus or Carob which is actually a good thing because the Black Valerie’s seemed too brushed to the point the showed a ton of lint and hair. I *almost* sized down to a Small (27-28” waist, 39” hips)… but the Medium seems to stay up while training without cutting in while sitting. If they stretch out at all over time or I get leaner I may need a Small.

Snagged these in ALL the colors and so glad I did. I like a little thicker, squat proof legging with just enough compression to hold me in tight in all the right places. PLEASE make these in more colors. These leggings, the matching Diamondback bra, corset top and shorts are giving all the right vibes. Yes, I purchased them all

Cons first, because they're a dealbreaker for me. The Sierra fabric is too delicate. I purchased these leggings, a tank, and the bodysuit during the latest drop, and I have multiple snags on both the tank and leggings. For athletic wear, at this price point, that's unacceptable. These are clothes that are meant to be lived in. If you have pets, just don't waste your time with this fabric. Pros. It's a super flattering and comfortable fabric. It's a little on the heavier side, but it truly has endless stretch and is surprisingly sweat wicking. The cactus color is gorgeous. The hidden stretchy seam is comfortable. Cat furr brushes right off. These leggings made me wear something other than my contour wunder trains to the gym for the first time in ages. Unfortunately, after how poorly my Casey's lasted, and my experience with this Sierra fabric, it's going to take me a lot to purchase from Ptula again, let alone recommend it. :(

Hi Megan, we want to thank you for your review of our Sierra Leggings and we're so sorry to hear about your disappointment in one of our best selling and highly rated leggings. We can see a few of the cons you pointed out are really important to you, a question for you -do you have really soft/brushed leggings that you have found hold up perfectly for you and don't attract hair? The reason we ask is because the concept of "brushed" exterior on fabrics naturally aren't sleek and being brushed has a slightly more delicate exterior compared to a really sleek, tightly woven fabric. The one legging I would suggest if you want a soft legging that doesn't pill would be our Bare Warmth Legging if you haven't tried those yet. - The Ptula Team

The second I put these on, they felt so good! I love the Sierra material. I think it's the best material since Peak! I have these in Black and Sienna size M. They fit perfectly.

I really love this fabric it’s my top favorite now. My only issue is that the seam to accentuate the glutes is so uncomfortable I want to size up but not even sure if that would help. I hope there’s an option for those of us with this issue.

Hi Clare! Thank you for the review and feedback on our Sierra Leggings! We'd love to reassure you that, if there's a chance you feel the elastic, over a few wears and washes, the Sierra Legging actually starts to soften and conform beautifully to your body so that backrise elastic will become even more comfortable. We appreciate your review and thoughts on our Sierra Legging! - The Ptula Team
