“The Sierra material is fantastic but I do miss the compression from the original batch. The fabric doesn’t have that same “snapback” feeling it did before. I have been a true size large in Ptula leggings since 2018 and the new sizing changes are quite off. I bought my normal size and they barely stay up on my waist. I am not a size medium in any other brand so I don’t feel like the new sizing is very accurate so that’s a heads up. It makes me very apprehensive to buy new shorts or leggings now because I don’t know which size is going to be correct ☹️”
“I’ve ordered several different P’tula leggings and was excited to try the new sierra! I don’t have experience with the original sierra but when I heard these were not going to be as compressive, I was sold. I ordered in color candy since I normally go for black/navy. Let me just say the color is AMAZING. the perfect pink for a legging. They have a crazy amount of stretch and I actually could have sized down one more size to a small. I’ve never had a pair of leggings with a seam scrunch but I was pleasantly surprised with how good they make the booty look! However, I only had these about a month and the thread on the inside seam of the scrunch came undone in a few places. It sadly creates a bubble look on the outside seam in the back middle of the pants I only wear them to lounge so I'm not sure how it happened but I’m super bummed and can no longer where them outside the house.”
“Definitely size down in these! I’m a medium in the 8-9 pairs of Ptula leggings I’ve bought; in fact, some of my mediums are a little tight. These are so loose that they bunch up in the crotch and lower stomach area when I sit down. And that’s the area that I carry my extra weight too. I would say these run 1.5 sizes too big. I bought on the sale so there’s nothing I can do about it. The bra is super cute though!”
“I have the Sierra legging in almost every color. I’m very familiar with how they fit. This new color way runs much bigger and has a shorter in seams for some reason. The fabric also does not offer as much compression. Still very cute but will be exchanging for one size down.”
