“The elastic band in the back of the shorts had already torn before I even put them on. During the first time wearing them, the shorts also pilled badly, and I didn't even engage in activities that would particularly rub the area, such as hip thrusts. The pilled area looks like cat had scratched.
The shorts are also small, so I recommend buying a size larger. However, I no longer recommend P'tula. The first leggings were good (for sometime), but all the other products I ordered have been defective, including these shorts. The first leggings are starting to become see-through after only six months, so my satisfaction with P'tula has declined. I don't recommend this brand.”
“Obsessed doesn’t cover it. I initially got these shorts in Sienna and Cactus because the colors were too good to pass up and I’ve been so impressed with P’tula’s legging quality.
I got them and they’re incredible. There’s a barely there butt scrunch that you can’t see but, boy, does it WORK.
only downside to the scrunch is the stitching on one of mine came out after 2 wears/ washes, but I emailed Ptula about it and they immediately sent me a new pair, I’ve had no issues since! Just ordered 2 more colors with Black Friday. Great short, better customer service”

“I watched a bunch of reviews online prior to ordering from P’tula. Super excited for these, but when I took them out of the package they looked TINY. According to the size chart I should have been a size small, but ordered a medium just to be safe. I typically wear a size 26/27 in jeans and a 4/6 in Lululemon. I honestly felt like I could have sized up to a large. Perhaps this was due to the “hidden scrunch” elastic detailing on the butt seam. This was incredibly uncomfortable I could not imagine feeling doing a workout in these. The colors were great, loved that there was a 6” length with no front seam, but sadly would not recommend. And for an unexpected return fee, I would hesitate to order from P’tula again.”

Cons
Immediate camel toe and Sand color is not accurate, I’ve noticed ptula images are not very good at showing true colour and hope they figure this out because I now have a few that I never wear because I don’t like the actual colour. Also stitching at the back is unflattering, it’s very high and also sticks out weirdly. I’ve found recent sizing recommendations to be off. My waist is 28” and hips around 39”. From reps it seemed a medium would be best but I think a small would’ve be better. Wish I could return these but sadly international.”
