“LISTENN. I have always been extremely sensitive to fabric textures and am obsessed with all things Bare— it’s quite possibly the best fabric I’ve ever put on my body and it’s somehow all-season appropriate; cozy without being stifling, lightweight without being too thin, delicate but still sturdy— but you already know all that. What I did *not* expect was for a bra made out of springy, stretchy, non-compressive Bare to offer any support, and I was okay with that. I bought this as more of an everyday, low-impact-mobility-work-at-home bra, not for gym use. But today, the workout posted was supposed to be bike and farmers’ carry static holds— literally no impact. I figured what the heck and put it on because I just really wanted to wear something soft and comfy, plus sometimes it’s nice to have a little oomph up top and not look like a pancake at the gym, and away we went— only to arrive at box and realize I had been TRICKED and the actual wod contained running, jump rope, AND push-ups. So now here I am with what I think will be a minimal-support, plunging neckline bra about to bounce all around and be bent over for an extended period of time. K. Cool.
Imagine my absolute shock when not a single thing fell out of place or went flopping around— I even ended up taking my shirt off and finishing the workout in just the bra. I am simply stunned at the level of support and comfort this bra offers. I actually had the thought *while* running “I’m going to have to post a review for this bra. I can’t believe how held I am right now.” If you’re a CrossFit girly (or anyone at all tbh) and think you wouldn’t get enough use out of this and you don’t need an expensive lounge bra etc., yes, you will, and yes, you do— just buy it. Just do it. It’s SO SO good!!
For ref: got a size medium, I’m 5’9” 148# 32D (underbust 31”); my size choice is usually primarily based on my back span, as the girls are there but not huge. Hope that helps!”
