The recipe for Worcestershire sauces, pronounced "woos-ter-sheer" (or "sher"), dates back to the early nineteenth century when the British Lord Sandys acquired it during travels in Bengal. Since then it has become a household name for obvious reasons. Our homemade recipe includes the best fruit in season, Tamarind, Spices and a touch of Treacle and Chilli. As we are a vegan friendly brand we do not include the anchovies sometimes found in this sauce.  Use Worcestershire sauce to add background flavour to meats, gravies, soups, and vegetable juices. It is also a versatile table condiment and an essential ingredient in the bloody mary cocktail. As with all our products, this is Gluten Free and Vegan. We are All Natural and use no added artificial preservatives, colouring or additives. Our preserves are made fresh with seasonal fruit, low sugar and have a best before of one year; just best to keep in the fridge after opening. We find these products taste so fresh and great that most people will consume them within a month or two. For some though it can be even quicker :-)
