“My husband and I discovered rare carat after researching with several local jewelers and online vendors. I was immediately impressed with the gemologists. They took the list of things we were looking for in a diamond, told us what was realistic within our price range and ran with it. They sent us several diamonds over the course of a few weeks and I knew the one I wanted as soon as I saw it. Some of the diamonds on their site were listed with other online retailers but when I asked them about the specifics they gave their honest, unbiased and detailed opinions. I had not experienced this with any other seller. My husband and I were also in the market for a custom setting but were concerned about the quality and purchasing something that would be non-refundable so we decided to go with a setting that was available online and would still be able to be returned within 30 days. We thought we would check out the workmanship and if we were happy would then consider designing something. Well the ring that came was stunning and I would have no issue ordering custom from them in the future (the team was excellent and incredibly patient while answering all of my questions) but I couldn’t send back the one that was delivered because I was so happy with it. We went in searching for a round or oval solitaire close to 2 carats and ended up with a 1.63 carat (9.65 x 6.50) oval cut diamond (color H, VVS1) in the 14 karat yellow gold Aria setting. The price was more competitive than the other online vendors. The same diamond was close to $1,200 more on another site. We highly recommend working with Rare Carat. We are so happy with our experience! PS The headline was the advice from my father on our wedding day.
