“We were very impressed with the Remoska especially the 'Standard 2l) which consumes 460W also ideal for our Lithium portable battery pack. This little portable oven cooks like it says anything you can cook in a standard oven so long as it fits in the cooker. We have tired it out in the house so far cooking chicken drumsticks, lamb steaks, frittata monitored by a power meter hence the 460W @240v AC. Generally, it cooks anything in less than 1 hour I would say. So at 460W its around 0.15p which is also much better than turning on the large oven for a small meal. “Purchased to replace my old much used Remoska which came to the end of its life. Design of this one is a great improvement, love that the cable unplugs and the stand is much better. The flat handle on the lid is great, no more tipping over onto a worktop.”
“Bought for use in motorhome rather than conventional oven. Have started trialling by using at home and after just 2 weeks of experimenting have found lots of things it can cook which would previously have entailed heating the full oven. Looking forward to discovering more energy saving uses for the Remoska and then using when out on the road as well. Bought the 2L version which is perfectly adequate for two people. For three or four, I would think the larger version would be required. All in all, I think this has been a very worthwhile purchase.”
