“We like these window fasteners very much. They look elegant and the finish is superb.
Coming supplied with both flat and standard keepers was handy - I needed the flat ones. One I simply screwed flat to the frame, but with the second one I took the trouble to countersink it flush with the timber, which looks much neater, so one day I will re-do the first one.
(The square-shaped hook keepers I didn't need weren't wasted - they make great clothes hooks.)
The three photos here don't fully do justice to the finished job because of the back light coming in the window. The casement is painted Indian Red, and the frame Spanish Cream, and with the satin-chrome plate finish fasteners it all looks too classy for words.
This was in the bedroom. The lounge-room's next, so I'll definitely want something similar there ..... when I get to it.
