“The actual handle is beautiful. Heavy and well made. I was putting it on the front of an antique oak desk. I had 6 handles (12 screws). I predrilled a 2.5 mm pilot hole for the screws and was screwing it on by hand. For reference I am a small woman. 3 out of the 12 screws snapped off in the hole beyond the point of no return. I had to then adjust the handle to accomodate the snapped hardware - 3 times. It was infuriating. Fortunately the handle is rounded and the adjustment isnt immediately obvious. I spoke with the lovely people at restorations online and they said this is an ongoing issue.”
