It works great! I tried it at home, to get an idea of how much water usage for showering and it impressed me. It'll keep hot water from your tap for 4 hours or so without issue and plenty hot for a shower. My only issue, is with my Jeep JL and that ESS. One time out on the trail if you do.not turm offz then all of the 12v power gets sucked away to charge the aux. battery and that'll drop the 12v down to 11-12v and it isn't enough to really heat the water each hour that's required. So after the first day, I just couldn't get the water warm, which was a real bummer as I had ourchased with my primary use for a hot shower out on the trail.

The rinsekit pro + heater is a solid combo overall. I've used it a few times after surfing in Northern California. Knowing that I can take a hot shower after my session changed my outlook. It's great to be able to warm up and clean up before going on with the day, I don't feel as cramped after a session. Here's what I wish I had known before the purchase, I'm sure the info was available somewhere, just didn't read it (so it's on me): 1) the heater shouldn't stay plugged into the car while the car is off. So basically if I fill up cold tap water before going, there's only the time of the drive to heat up the water. Which is not enough time. I understand Physics exists. 2) my garage has a cold water faucet and an AC power outlet. However, the immersion heater doesn't have a charger for AC power (but the rinsekit does). I would have loved to be able to fill up in the garage and let heat overnight before a session. 3) another thing I would have loved, being able to leave the heater in the rinsekit when filling up.

Heater takes longer then expected... the water wasn't that warm even though it said it was ready Design is weird hold on top to pour water in is small you must use a hose Should have a drain plug on the bottom

As a truck driver I will say that the pro kit works amazing. Has came in handy when stuck at locations without facilities. After a few tweaks I have it working to my liking. Now the heater on the other hand is a little week. The water is warm, but far from hot. I have had it on for a 10 hour drive, and temp was meh. Will be upgrading to the hyperheater before winter sets in. Currently have the kit located underneath bottom bunk. Hardwired a 7 pin connector to run the heater. I had to put together an extension hose for placement. Then had to fab up a portable drain pan, and shower curtain to complete the setup.

Need to provide an AC charger or at least recommend an AC to DC converter.
