Hi James,
Thank you for leaving the Hot Rod Water Heater a review. That is correct, as stated multiple places on our website, the Hot Rod is not compatible with the PRO as the diameter of the PRO's fill hole is too large to fit the rod. If you are interested, we have a heating rod for the PRO called the PRO Immersion Heater (https://rinsekit.com/collections/shop-heaters/products/rinsekit-pro-immersion-heater)
You are still within the 30-day return window for the heater, if you'd like to return it, please fill out this form and our customer service team will get back to you soon. (https://rinsekit.com/pages/return-request-form)
Best,
Team RinseKit
“I'm super enthusiastic about this product. The instructions are very clear to be careful to not cross-thread, however there are not suggestions on how to be careful and how to tell if you are cross-threading. I was certainly careful to not cross thread, but I think I failed. Need to resolve with customer support, but improving the cross-threading risk with the unit is something you should address going forward.”
“We could not believe the difference this made on our trip. Didn’t have to worry about how much water we were using from the trailer. Able to wash kitchen ware with hot water from rinse kit. And much more.”
“I bought the rinse kit pod after trying 3 other portable showers and this is the best one by far. The heater works great and none of the other showers have the ability to heat the water.”
“The heater works better than I expected. The only problem I had was I had trouble to get it to fit my early rinsekit and the customer service was pretty much non existent. Now it was right before christmas so I hope that was why. The instructions did not cover the early rinsekit. Took two weeks to get a hold of someone to set me straight. Now it works perfect.”
“The fall in NJ can get chilly and as the water temperature starts to drop having a warm rinse is perfect to keep the chill away. When I added the Hot Rod it made the Rinse Kit a treat after the a scuba dive instead of just a necessity.”
