fair warning, it takes awhile to get the heater to heat the water, even with the hitch cord. i have the largest rinsekit and the kit itself is great, just wish the heater was stronger and didnt take so long to heat. you kinda have to mix up the water in the kit to get all of the water hot . once you do that you;ll have hotter water and the insulation also helps in keeping it warm. i keep mine in my truck when we arent using it to act as a barrier especialy since its ben getting colder out.

Ok so after learning a bit more about the heater for my pro I finally got it to work to its full potential. Had to call into customer service and they were able to give me some advice because I was about to send this thing back. Firstly, if you have the heater in for awhile it just heater the top of the water… and the rest is cold! They suggested I like stir up the cold water into the hot to disperse it, makes sense after the fact. Now it works great! Heating is still pretty slow but if you plug it in before you travel you’ll have hoter water once you get there

How are you going to use your RinseKit? Beach
It took me about 3 hours to get hot water, but it worked out because I had it plugged in while we were on the road. The water was hotter towards the top than it was at the bottom, so we had to slosh it around to get it to even out. I would say this is a good solution if you are on the road or if you plan ahead, but not so much if you need instant hot water.

This heater works as described. However there are some things I wish I had known like heating up 3 and some odd gallons of water takes som time! This isn’t “a plug in for 15 mins and you’re good to go” type of deal. As described on their website, it is more of a heat on the way to your destination then you get the hot water. Take it as a “well worth the wait“ kinda thing.

I camp a lot and am usually far from home. I keep the heater installed in my PRO while I drive to my campsite and by the time I get there, it's all heated up and ready for me. Love this thing.

The immersion heater completes my RinseKit setup. Combined with my PRO, I can have a hot shower anywhere - perfect for long camping trips with my family.
