“I really wanted to love these, the calories vs protein contents is insane and it’s so hard to find something savoury that does that. Unfortunately they’re just not hitting the mark. They are incredibly dry, a texture I’ve never experienced from a jerky type product. I was expecting them to be somewhat tacky chewy sticky, but because the beef is blitzed it’s a dry grainy experience that isn’t particularly pleasant. I do find myself forcing it down like a bush tucker trial instead of enjoying it. The flavours are fine, I’m not fond of the chilli as it’s giving a bit too much sicky acid flavour but I can tell some people would enjoy it. Sometimes some gristle too. I’ll finish the rest but I won’t purchase again. I will keep an eye out if there are alternative recipes though, would love to see these improve as the concept is amazing.”
“Wanted to leave an honest review.. I feel these are better for you than a protien bar made from all sorts of ingredients and preservatives. These feel like a healtier snack. But and there is a but, I am not sure on the texture, the only way i can describe it, its like very very dry corned beef. Infact its so dry its hard to eat without having a drink.. If they could make them more moist they are on to a winner but the texture and dryness lets them down.. I think that for what they are and if you can just get them down to increase protein, which it what I do, then they do the job.”

We totally understand that they are not to everybody's taste. Our products contain zero artificial flavours, additives or preservatives. They are incredibly natural, which means that taste can be different from the typical products we see in this category which are laden with salt, sugar, and low quality fats.
We are continuing to improve our recipes and process, as part of our mission to make real food more accessible.
