“From the moment i opened the box and saw these 2 mini pin connectors in there i thought it was a crappy idea. Sure enough. After 2 uses we have problems with the headset. I know things slip through the cracks but why on earth would you make ANOTHER weak point for connectors and moisture to make this unit fail? I dont know if your goal was to reduce inventory or what but making this headset use a silly little adapter connector on here at this point seems ridiculous. I even heat shrinked it to keep moisture out and that didnt work. It was dry and still failed. Bad idea guys. This after i also had a problem with my 696+ that also got moisture in it, shortly after the warranty expired. Is this stuff for off road use or not? Not happy.”
