As avid off road enthusiasts, we find ourselves in the backcountry where cell phone service isn't an option. Everyone in our group travels and completes obstacles at a different pace. These radios are perfect for staying connected from the lead vehicle to the tail gunner. We bought two kits for newbies that may join us. Staying connected with the whole group is essential for safety but it's also awesome to talk to your friends while on the trail!

My biggest complaint is the music volume level it is extremely quiet I think your radios are just overhyped piece of garbage. I wish your equipment Asics as expensive as it is would be better quality are you better quality cheap Walmart earbuds

I blew 3 fuses before calling to send back. I had to pay return shipping and they would not cross ship. Still waiting on replacement. I would not recommend this radio or the company. Gave 1 star because you can't give zero.

I was new to the intercom world and apprehensive about the cost, so in an effort to save money I initially ordered an older rugged (still new, but old design) and if I wanted to use the aux in feature we would need to have a customer cable fabricated by Rugged. So I returned that old design and bought this one and glad I did. This model allows for aux in out of the box and works with all of the current mounting solutions Rugged offerers, making it basically plug b play once you have a bracket kit and wires. I will confirm this thing is amazing and I should have bought one years ago. I usually just yell at my co-driver and he can't really tell what I'm saying but he's been a good friend so he just goes along with whatever I'm telling him. With this intercom and the helmet kits installed, it's so much nicer. I can actually hear my co-driver (there's a volume knob so I can turn him down and remember the good old days when I couldn't hear him) and my co-driver can now hear me loud and clear. This think pushes a lot of volume if you need it. So if you've got a loud exhaust or traveling at speed, I'm fairly confident that this will work amazing for almost everyone. Don't forget to purchase intercom cables of proper length, helmet kits and if you have a rugged radio you'd like to use with the intercom some ptt buttons of your choosing. Great intercom. Glad I bought it. If you're reading this, my advice to myself would be to buy a model specific kit and be happy. Ala Carte works too!

These are very very nice radios. Solid as a rock, very controllable, and many features one does not find in the consumer grade, e.g., voice scrambling and repeater functionality. Audio is very nicely loud and clear, including the weather channels, which is quite the neat trick in this area. Once set up they're great to hand to anybody.

To be honest I’ve only used the headset twice this past weekend but I thought it was really comfortable and I could hear clearly. I have a smallish head and it adjusted to fit just fine!

Bought this to replace a failed battery that was only used a handful of times, I have not used the new battery yet, the shipping was fast and I was kept informed when it was shipped and the shipping progress multiple times which I liked.

Just got to use my headset for the first time. Of all my previous headsets, audio kept failing. To use this headset, I have to hold the upper (larger) plug in the panel or it slides out. My Bose and other manufacturer headsets never experience this problem. Putting the plug next to the BOSE plug, it appears to be a smaller diameter plug. How do I get a refund or replacement?
