After 4 years of use the plastic on the original straps started cracking and failed. The new straps fit like a glove. A couple of tips; when installing, remove the ear pad first, install the straps with the flange resting towards the outside of the headphone. Reinstall the ear pad and flip the flange on the straps towards the inside of the headphone. At least twice a year remove the ear pad and straps, clean and lubricant with silicone oil to prevent drying out and cracking, this will certainly extend the life of the plastic/rubber on the straps and the ear pads.
