“I will be uing ours on the off road racing circuit. We mainly will be using it at a remote spot ( course workers) and just need a liitle more distanse without going to a bigger radio. It is a little lightweight for bouncing across the Desert, but great for what I am using it for.”

“This larger antenna definitely helped increase the range of my R1 radios. Myself and a few buddies got to try it out this last weekend out in Sand Hollow Utah and they worked fantastic. I’m sure part of the additional range was possible from the position where antenna was placed. Prior to having the antenna placed in an exterior position I often had less than optimal sound quality from inside the vehicle but not anymore.”
