“Radio works well. Clarity is good for quite a distance. The radios work much better than the previous set I bought. Purchasing the long range antenna was a must! Good quality and fast shipping!”

“I like the two-way handheld. Was disappointed that there was no mention when I purchased this item in plain sight on the web page that I needed FCC license to use this product until after I had received it. Would have been helpful to have a warning on the page where the item is purchased.”

Hello Mark, We are happy you are pleased with your Rugged GMR2 Plus handheld radios. We currently state on the bottom of the product page that an FCC license is required to operate the radio and include a link directly to the website to obtain one. I will talk with the team to see if there is a way we can make that line more eye-catching so that we can ensure no one else is unaware of this. Thank you for your help!

“I like them, they look rugged,(pun intended). But there is no operation manual, so they are not as useful to me.”

“Radios have clear service. Used during multi-vehicle travel. Customer service was on point - I had a minor issue pop up with the radio (most likely user error). I reached out to Tech support and they had me fixed and up and running VERY quickly. The radios work flawlessly, not much of a learning curve, but what little there is - the website is extremely helpful. Ive already spread the word with buddies on the set up. Would recommend and will be continuing my purchases with Rugged.”
