These radios work extremely well. The audio quality is superb and they are easy to use. The reception and transmit capability of these radios is excellent. The cases are made from a durable hard plastic that appears to be able to take the abuse of the outdoors. Extremely satisfied with all the features and functions of these radios.

Our Jeep club has been using Rugged radios for a little while now. Until now I usually used a club shared radio. I decided to get my own set when I got asked to be a trail leader or tail. We have had nothing but a good experience with these radios. OBOJ just hosted its first annual Jeep and Jams event this May where these radios were an amazing asset for our club members who volunteered to work the event. Thank you for such a great product. Also not intend for a plug but Tackform and Bulletpoint both have mounting solutions you can use for Jeeps and other makes.

These radiis are the best. We've tried different terrain, with no problem. Haven't tested the distance max yet, but if it's anything like being on different ridges, or in two different holes on a mountain, then we are good.

Blew my motor up 10miles (as the crow flys) across the lake; radioed back to camp and was able to clearly get response and help. Very happy with that result being a low power hand held. Also the dual channel monitor is cool; had the kids on the FRS cheapies and adults on the GMRS separate channels listening to both.
