Communication on the trails is essential when you are carrying precious cargo! Sounds like your granddaughter is being raised right! Thank you for being part of the Rugged Radios family.

I purchased this Over the Head headset to replace a Behind the Head headset. I wanted to get rid of the "bar" on the back with something lighter and more easily adjustable. The OTH accomplished both of these objectives well. However, the mic's articulating arm isn't long enough. The mic only reaches the corner of my mouth. I work sports car races and need to have the mic squarely in front of my mouth due to noise. I've adjusted the arm out as far as it will go but still need an inch to put the mic in a position that I can communicate without holding and pulling on the articulating arm with my "writing hand". I happened to notice that the articulating arm attachment point is not in the center (vertically) of the earpiece (off maybe a 1/4"?). I swung the articulating arm 180º and put the headset on "backwards" (push to talk button now on my right side). Voila! I could now put the mic near (enough) to the center of my mouth. But that put the push to talk button on my right side (my writing side). Usually when I'm making calls, I am writing. Any suggestions/parts swap would be appreciated. Except the one telling me to become a "lefty" writer.

Good headsets to start off with. Good sound dampening from the engine noises and clear comms with the riders. Not the best bass from them, but that’s why I have a MB Quart system to handle that part.
