“I purchased this in a 1.75” for my 1.75” roll bar and it does not get tight enough to secure the antenna. It holds the antenna up right but the slightest touch will move it. The body that mounts the antenna (sold separately) seems to be okay but I wouldn’t buy this again.”

“New installed the 45 GRMS radio sounded great. Good range come back from the test ride put the rugged radio very expensive cover and hosed the floor of my can am x 3 out and the next time I tried it it was crap ordered a noise filter from rugged made it worse called rugged let me transfer you to tec support well we’ll call you back. We’ll never happened. Thanks RUGGED?”

“This is a nice radio, however, it does not come programmed with receive/transmit capability. You must do that itself. PIA as I received no instructions on how to complete. Also this new radio does not talk with older GMRS radios. All my friends went to this new radio and my old GRMS would not talk with them.”

“This radio is a must have! I had no idea I’d would use these radios so much. They work great for communicating on the trail. They can hook up directly to your helmet kit. Small and powerful. They were easy to use. They also came in handy when I was backing up the trailer in my camp spot. No more yelling to your spotter guiding you in. I also used them when the family went into the store to grab snacks and I stayed in the truck. I was able to call out my last minute order before they got in line to pay. We also used them on hikes where the kids wanted to run ahead of the adults. Not to mention the kids loved to play hide and seek with them around the camp. The communication was always clear. I had no idea we would use them for so many different things. I highly recommend this radio!”
