“I recently wanted to upgrade my 2000 Jeep Gladiator with a mobile ham radio instead of having a handheld. Rugged Radio's had the solution I needed to mount my new Yaesu FTM 300DR; Talk about ease in installing. It took me less than an hour to mount the radio, snake the coax and power, and connecting my antenna. Couple of things I can point out. The mount is solid! It is not flimsy and I have no doubts it will last a lifetime. Second, it was so easy to attach without drilling! Makes it nice and easy if I every sold my jeep with out damaging it. My final thoughts is a 5/5 score. I highly recommend it if your planning to install a CB unit, GMRS base unite, or a mobile ham radio unit. Thank you. See pictures I attached.”
