This was the perfect mount I needed for my 4runner as I already have 2 radios mounted and wanted to add SDS200 scanner. Price is a little high.

Installed the radio mount in my Tacoma and it is holding a 4.2 lb Yeasu 2980R 2m radio. It looks great, doesn’t interfere with passenger and it is rock solid.

This mount is great! I have tried 3 different sized 10 meter radios, a small, a medium and full size radio. The mount fits into the passenger front seat floor bolt. No vibration problems and keeps the radio in a perfect location. You can slightly adjust the angle also if the radio bracket has the 3 adjustable cut out to swing the radio up or down. Customer service was great.

This was a great no-hassle solution to mount my KG-1000G+ in a Gen 5 4Runner. The included longer 14mm bolt to replace the factory seat bolt is a nice touch. The good: 1. The angles in the bracket are dead-on perfect in my 2023 4Runner, it is nice and snug to the center console, and the rubber bumper at the top is a nice touch. 2. The bolt slots in the mount are good and plenty, I could see pretty much any radio mounting bracket working on this. 3. The radio is held at a position that's easily accessible/viewable but not in the way of passengers and is situated so that coax & power can be tucked through the center console's bottom edge The could do better: 1. The finish on this bracket is dubious. I snugged (just barely snug, not tightened) one of the included bolts and nylock nuts, then loosened it to move the radio bracket a bit and the finish was mostly gone where the bolt head touched it. The bracket also had a couple spots on the bottom that were flaked off in shipping 2. There are two small brackets and an aluminum spacer included in the package. I spent more than a couple minutes trying to figure out what the hell they were for, before deciding to YOLO and mount the radio. I only understood these are parts meant for the RuggedRadios branded radios specifically. Some kind of paper explainer in the package would be nice 3. Given this is the only mount like this I could find online, it's the one I got. I feel like the $85 price tag is just captive market, there is definitely not $85 worth of materials and labor in this kit. Is it worth it? I guess, if it's the only one being made and you need one.

We apologize for the issues you encountered with the bracket finish and the lack of clear instructions for the additional parts; we will certainly take your suggestions into account to improve our product and user experience.

Love that I don't have to drill holes and mutilate my vehicle to mount a radio. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the single mounting hole does seem to allow the mount to move a bit and rattle around no matter how tight you get the bolt. It does have a nice little rubber cap on the end to try to prevent it from scratching up the center console. Overall I'm very happy with it.

This simple bracket made it easy to mount the Rugged Radio in my Four Runner. If not for the convenience and ease of installation, I would have made my own. If you want a nice bracket and don't mind spending the money, I highly recommend it. It would get five stars but for the price.

Tacomas don’t have a lot of space and this keeps the cb out of the way and you don’t have to have ugly drill holes.
