“Love the radios. I have 3 PCI and one rugged. Better sound , easier to install with rugged. But one of the ptt switches broke. Quick ship, easy replace.”

“I love the look. The rocker PTT from Rugged mounted in the dash close tot he driver eliminates the needs to string a PTT over to the steering wheel. This means no dangling wires or worry about catching or stretching the cord while entering or exiting the car, or while turning the streering wheel "too far". On the other hand, I have had problems with a Rugged PTT rocker activating without being pushed (activating on its own). When the PTT activates on its own, it broadcasts our music and conversation without us knowning it. It clogs the channel preventing others from communicating. And It is irritating for all involved.”

“Works as expected except the cables are too shore unless you mount the switch close to the intercom. I didn't try cutting the wires and splicing so I purchased the 3-foot cable extension for about $30 which is about 2-foot too long. Not sure what the alternatives are but maybe cable length assembly choices or a splice kit and instructions.”
