We have a 45,000 achre hunting club in the mountains. These radios work well for our maintenance staff who use them. We can use them almost everywhere on site.

This is my 3rd vehicle mounted radio and works well. Allows family and friends to talk from camp or a chase vehicle to others that may be on a ride . I also have several handhelds that work well for the same purpose .

Great Radio, You can program everything including GMRS, Marine, Fire, Hospital & Police frequencies. You can setup scan list for your favorites. Dual band readout is really useful. If you want to get the most out of the radio make sure to get the RT systems programming software, (no need to pay for the cable its just a standard USB-A to USB mini). One thing to do is thread lock the screws that hold the fan in place (at the rear of the unit), be careful not to overtighten the screws or you will crack the plastic housing. Also its NOT waterproof, so keep your pressure washer away from your dash. I've had mine since 2/2021. Just got a second one for my truck
