“Recently purchased radio w/external speaker and used during trip to Moab. Worked great as we communicated with 10 other riders. Reception was received from each person and the clarity on the external speaker was loud and clear. Afterwards, cleaned machine with sprayer and had no issues with the radio still installed in the machine.”

“Solid built radio but it doesn’t put out 25 watts. Max output was ~ 17 watts with grounded antenna and super low SWR (bonded to non painted roll cage) and connected directly to the battery. With or without engine running output was 17watts max. Called tech support was told it’s a grounding issue despite being grounded as recommended. Super loud speaker and super rugged radio. They send a QR code to a website that’s supposed to provide the user manual but it shows only other models and not this one. I’d prefer the display shows the frequency AND the channel number. It only shows the channel number. They also have some pre set channels with preset CTCSS codes but you can’t alter these. So if many people use this radio then this channel setting is the same on everyone’s radio and there’s traffic on this channel and it defeats the purpose of using a CTCSS tone for some sort of privacy (as much as you could expect by setting a custom channel. All in all a solid radio that puts out 15W and is SUPER LOUD which is a MUST for the RZR life.”
